Cranberry Lake or Bust!

I'm on my way to camp for a few days. I'm bringing my computer, so perhaps I will get some posts done and then I can go sit in the library parking lot and send them to the blog. No Internet, no cell phones, one Canadian television channel. It's like returning to the dark ages. And I love it!

My spinning wheel is coming with me, so I am hoping to get some of the fiber spun that I dyed in Harrisville. I have invited our spinning group to come on Wednesday. I have a feeling that there will only be a couple of people coming, but it will be fun. I have to remember to pack some wine too.

Right now I have a very wicked headache, so I'm hoping the fresh mountain air will help make that go away. We're off now. Be back soon with my promised Harrisville report as well as tales of Camp Fi-Be-Gar.

Back from Harrisville

Here is some of the fiber I dyed while in Harrisville, NH for Twisted Sister Lynne Vogel's Dyeing, Spinning and Knitting worship. It was a totally amazing time-tons of fun, friends, food, knitting, dyeing, spinning and peaceful times in a beautiful setting.
This is a class picture taken the last day of class. We are all wearing something that we dyed during the week. Don't we look like a fun group of women?

I promise a more detailed report soon, but I need time to process the whole wonderful experience! I can't wait until next year.

TTFN

Here is where I'll be starting Monday morning, on the second floor in the Weaving Center at Harrisville Designs.

There is no Internet access, so while taking Lynne Vogel's spinning, dyeing and knitting class I will not be making blog posts. I will be home next Saturday, I hope with a lot of pictures and tales of fun and learning.

Have a wonderful week!
